01 Canjo Build #4 June 11 2018

The neck is 1" wide. I settled on just cutting a top section off of the neck and gluing a 1/4" piece of wood on the bottom. It lowers the machine head and works well. I also cut and glued the a bottom section on where the can gets mounted. This lowers the can and brings the string up higher on the back of the can. I sealed the wood with boiled linseed oil. Now all I have to do is pay more attention on mounting the can so it is centered better.
