Hehehe... the second one is going to be the proof of concept/prototype one I already have in progress. I just found cigar box source yesterday and I think I may have Xmas gifts covered this year now that I know how to make these!

Yes, the brass rod worked out great and The Beau loves it! I'll have more pictures shortly. Really happy with it!

Wow, I like how the "laced" key and pendant fit with the box logo: that is an elegant look. Glad its fun to play, too. Did you end up keeping the brass rod frets?
