The Bizarre Guitar Pickup Encyclopedia

So many Cigar Box Guitar builders have an affinity for cheap, trashy guitar tones. The snarling sounds of a Teisco Del Rey gold foil pickup, Domino Californian chrome or even the almighty Danelectro lipstick tube.

The guys at Drowning in Guitars website has published a study and overview of the greatest cheap-o pickups, including output measurements!
