Profile Information

How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?
A friend who is a member recommended it to me.
How many instruments have you built so far?
None yet, but I am extremely interested in giving it a go.
What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).
I really love guitars. I am learning to play in general, and I really love the way it sounds. I also love to build and make things, I have experience in making other things aside from instruments. My friend showed me a cigar box guitar he made from scratch and I couldn't believe how perfect and rustic it looked and sounded. It had such a different yet similar sound to the acoustic that I'm learning on,and I'm fascinated by the simplicity of it. I also love how widely varied they can all look, depending on the features added and decorations included. Each and every once seems unique, and i think thats pretty cool.
