Hi Folks, This is the group to share everything about the three string guitar.
If you have had problems in the past playing regular guitar, try playing a three string guitar, they are much easier and the have a vintage sound that is super unique and easy to capture that old school blues sound.

I recently purchased a copy of Making a Cigar Box Guitar from GittyMan, Mordacai Bondurant. I had already made my first CBG, a three string, fretless bass, from plans in my head and ideas I lifted from them many great and creative CBGs I've seen online, but I was interested in learning more from experienced folks before starting my next project. This step-by-step manual is GREAT, filled with pictures and lists of materials and tools, and sources for everything needed to make a great CBG. More important, GittyMan shares technique, and provides instruction to help avoid common mistakes. Although I have some woodworking skills, and I built up a neck from scratch, I was not sure I wanted to try installing frets. After reading the clear explanations in this manual, I now have confidence to do this myself. ANYONE can built a CBG using this manual, and I suspect many folks who have already made CBGs might learn a few new tricks from this excellent reference. Highly recommended.
