After visiting Wayne's website I observed that he really only specializes in just a couple of very similar designs with just 3 strings only. Which is good if you want to rely on a particular sound and a repetitive production type model. After 20 plus years in the manufacturing arena ... This is a "Safe" and reliable pursuit which really closes the gap on failure of a single production unit - but your creativity to create something artistic and unique starves to death! It's a double edged sword for sure! So I guess it boils down to what you really want to do ... most customers want a certain sound and reliable playability rather than a unique one of a kind guitar at a fancy artisan price! I have to go with Wayne on this one ... But he also needs to build and market some really "One of a Kind" projects or he'll burn himself out building the same three production models over & over & over again. Just my thoughts ... We as a group have a passion for music & individuality in our pursuit.

James, saw your stuff on eBay. Looks NICE! Not sure why it's not selling.Very reasonably priced. I guess sales could be bad this time of year because everyone just finished Christmas shopping.
Good luck!

I like your website Wayne - very nicely done! I'm maybe thinking along the same lines but in specializing in Hubcap guitars? I'm laid off every year for 6 months during the winter and this just might be the ticket!

The biggest favor I did myself was to start a website (www.biglerguitars.com).  I sold my first few guitars on ebay and quickly moved away from them.  Their commission rates are ridiculous.  The website costs 12 bucks a month and its not hard to generate traffic to it.

Hi all my first time in this site. ebay is flooded with CBG right now. I have 3 on there  at rock bottom prices and the are not doing well. Sold a hubcap cuitar on there last month and did ok with it.

Alan. I think if you were to go to Ebay and/or Etsy you could set and average price for your style build...and go from there. Just offering ideas. I been selling my rod peizo builds for 160.00 can....that's my general asking price...
