Anyway - before I get u guys all excited - it's the Jersey Shore Jazz/Blues Foundation - any gigs will be in NJ..still in the NY area though.

I'd love to play in a NYC-CBG show, if there ever is one.
As a simpleton country-bumpkin upstater, I'm always impressed by the size of them thar buildings in Manhatten . . . and the amount of hay a guy could stack in 'em.

Grew up in NY (Staten Island) and moved to NJ.
Do I count? Probably.

There's approx 100 bands in it. We do fundraisers, festivals, etc. We also have annual playoffs, the winner representing NJ in the International Blues Competition in Memphis. Lots of fun - we've been finalists several times.
I think it would be a blast to introduce CBG to these folks. They have a monthly get-together at a bar with a pretty big stage. Are any of you guys (besides Shane - it's obvious) players?
