Friendship was never in doubt.  I, like you, will wrestle in my own way for things that are at the heart of who I am.  I learned from my British forebears that if you break fellowship over philosophical disagreements, your world will become very small indeed.  I am glad to have you in my world.... Speaking of Florida,,  Sam did you know in St Augustine (Where the large Memorial Cross stands)  is the only place along the entire US Coast line that is not owned by the US Government..  The Port of St Augustine is owned by the Roman Catholic Church via a Spanish Land grant..  

 

lol  neither side wants to push the issue..

the Bishop gave me official permission to anchor there while I was sailing.. Florida used to be a cool place to live if you lived on a sailboat ,, but that was many years ago,,  I no longer know what it is like now..

Yes, I have laughed at ethnic jokes.... But I have trouble remembering any, Junior High School was so very long ago. 

 

Make sure to keep to dixie "Stars and Bars" bedsheets clean.  White hoodies are so out of fashion these days.....

Well, if you couldn't have guessed I am a Mick, I am also mostly kraut, add to that (for the fun of it) my family heritage also comes from the Dutch part of Belgium. I have laughed at many ethnic jokes in my life, however my father never has and gets upset at those who tell them.

Talk about humorless.  Tell me that you have NEVER, EVER laughed at an ethnic joke of any kind in your entire life.

 

Do you really believe everything someone says without considering that they just might be pulling your leg?  Those things I said about the Dutch were in response to Allan calling me a "redneck", of which I can assure you I am not (I even voted for Obama - although I understand he's changed it to O'Bama now to reflect his Irish heritage).

 

Grow a hide and stop taking everything so seriously.
