Like Oily I use phosphor bronze wound,usually 22,30 and 40 with a 650mm scale length

Depends on scale length and tuning. I tend to use medium phosphor bronzes with a steel core, usually the A-D-G strings, so I can tune G-D-G or A-D-F#, typically on 25 or 25.5" scales.
