Smojo, that last link is fantastic!! If ever there was a 'full kit' stomp box, thats it! How am I gonna find time to make one of them too???

smojo, i saw somewhere that someone is screwing a small speaker (8in) on to a piece of wood to make a kind of stompboard, don't know what it sounds like though.

Ade, I totally agree with HB about making do with whatever. I've seen a few really nice CBG types where people have made their own plywood box and decorated it with something cool. The QS tin really does have a natural resonance that is very nice. I have a cool KITKAT tin that one day I'll get around to making into a guitar. Have a look around car boot sales, lost of possible items for next to nowt.

Randy - I've come to a standstill on the stomp board. Got anice old wooden box and mounted the plate on top. Tried a piezo pup in it and it sounded crap. Need to beef up the sound somehow.

Ade, also try your common or garden wine shops (Oddbins, Threshers etc) - they sometimes sell individual cigars and Iv had a few boxes from them. Or build a box from scratch & decorate to suit - the only limit is your imagination! I agree 100% with Hollowbelly though - it truly is about makin do with what you have - some of the best CBGs on here (in my humble opinion) are the inovative ones made out of junk :o)
