If anyone's in need of a little CBG live action they may be interested in the current Hymn for Her tour. To be fair, the CBG forms the rhythm section, but it sounds darned good - another of those twin amped Lowebow jobs I believe. More importantly, if yesterday's Leicester gig was anything to go by, they give an excellent performance, as opposed to just playing through the song list. I'll certainly make a point of seeing them again next time they're over our way. Harrogate tomorrow, then Angelsea, other dates on website.

Just a heads up fellers - Iv added a discussion in the HGMC group regarding this year AGM. If you have an interest or any thoughts on the HGMC and its direction, this is the time to have your say.

If you happen to be around Folkestone tonight, try to catch award winning Australian loop artists Claude Hay @ the Chambers. He puts on a great show, and is a recent convert to cbgs.

Claude will also be at the Guitar Bar in Notts on Thurs 20th, the Bell in Castle Hedingham on Fri 21st and the Barge, Gillingham on 22nd.

Just a quickie - I wouldn't usually sell things on here, but I have a Mike Snowden USA made 3 string cigarbox guitar for sale. Mike brought over several guitars for his UK tour, sold some, gave me one as a gift, and left this one to sell for him to help cover his flight and visa expenses.  It's £205 plus £15 post and pack (heavy duty gig bag available for £25).  This is a unique opportunity and it's WAY cheaper then buying one from the States, as there's no overseas shipping, no  import duty or VAT, so thats a £100 saving.

It's got a Pecan wood neck, walnut fretboard, 25inch scale, on a nice Padron box. It's fitted with a piezo pickup like all Mike's guitars, and it's very resonant with great sustain.  If you are interested, please leave me a message.
