If you call it B flat then it's E flat 2nd position or B flat straight

Another quick Question -:

If your guitar is tuned to A sharp would your Harmonica

be tuned D sharp ?????

Comment by Little Soul Eric on July 15, 2013 at 2:36am

cheers MFJ,

Do you think it would be a good idea to make the metal tail the full length of the

tail block ???

Comment by Michael Fred Johnson on July 15, 2013 at 1:14am

Soulcatcher

That guitar will probably have a tailblock

secure the tailpiece to that through the ribs on the end of the guitar

Gary, if you can actually visit an Axminster tools store, they have a good range of pull saws to choose from...however, I wouldn't use a pull saw for fret slotting (unless you get one that is specifically aimed at that task). Japanese dozuki saws and the like are great, but in my personal experience they can be too whippy for fretting. For fretting you need the proper tool, a "gents pattern" saw, with a stiff brass or steel back - try Tonetech - a bit pricey but it's the right tool. Japanese pullsaws are wonderful razor sharp things, but can be quite fragile - it's very easy to damage the teeth if you are the least bit careless with them. I love my Japanese pullsaw, but I don't use it for fret slotting...I use a fret slotting saw for that!

A great day for me at the Lincoln busking festival. A fantastically warm and sunny day with lots of buskers of all sorts.

I played two sets and made a profit after car parking charges and lunch.

It was one of those days where everything was as you would want it to be.

Hello people my Mrs wants to buy me a birthday pressy  where is the best place to get a Japanese pull saw and which type is the best for cutting frets

It was ok. Some Harley's some 50 and 60 s vehicles which looked great. The music was country on one stage and bluesy on another. The late stage was rockabilly. Large attendance from the travelling community about 60% of the crowd. Relaxed day but well organised. I got the feeling that greater numbers were expected. No queues anywhere. A bit pricey to get in and cos we camped we had to buy a two day ticket.
