try much lower k pots, you might like the results...say like 10 k..

I hadn't thought of wiring two together. Are you putting them in series or parallel? I have a bass with its pickup wired so you can switch between the two modes. You get a huge volume boost in series!

 I ended up creating a sound hole pattern using a drill and then used small eyelets I purchased form a haberdasher for £1.50  per pack to finish them.

Londonbackpackr .  potentiometers can be sourced easily enough from ebay or maplins.I get mine from maplins. btw you left an E out of your name ;)

hi George,

im fairly new here myself and had a similar problem.  I actually have some on order from amazon at the moment.  the next hurdle i am facing it getting any big brass eyelets for soundholes...couldn't source anywhere local to me so ended up just creating a soundhole pattern without using any.  hope this helps and welcome to our slightly strange collection of people : )

Hi All

I'm new here and in the process of building my first CBG.  I'm collecting all the pieces at the moment and was wondering when the best place to get potentiometers from?  I have looked around but this part of the process seems to be the most confusing.
