It's the beginning of a very slippery slope for you then Jeff. I attended a Chickenbone course a few years ago, and when I got home I had one CBG just like you. Now?................don't ask! I've got two more builds on the go now but luckily (for my wife!) both are going to two other people.

I was also at the Earl of Beaconsfield last night and concur with Graham, great gig!

Stopped off there after attending Chickenbone John's excellent workshop in Tunbridge Wells.

What a great day, and now I have a CBG! :-)

Earl of Beaconsfield, Cambridge. Last night was a great gig, thanks guys. 3 good sets, good pub,beer and people, with the 6 hour round trip. A public thankyou to Susan my wife for driving home so that I could enjoy the real ale.

Hi Steve

It was that man Seasick Steve on Jools Hollands new year show,"how on earth does he make a noise like that with only three strings?"

That christmas a niece with boyfriend visited and he entertained us playing a classical guitar I had made,a couple of days later niece returns,boyfriend loved guitar would I make him one for his birthday.Because of lack of time etc I said I'd make him a CBG.Made two,one for him,one for me.Niece dumps boyfriend before birthday and No's37/38 are nearing completion.

I have strayed off the purist path with copper tops and home made boxes etc. but it keeps me off the streets

I first saw Seasick Steve on the Millport to Largs ferry, cleaning up with a mop and bucket ;)
