Hi Ron,

I have built my first cbg from scratch, including the box and I'm really happy with the results. Just would like some of that old, found object type of character you get from a good cigar box.

All the UK builders complain about the lack of availability of cigar boxes. Yes, you can get em cheap on eBay, but shipping costs kill you. Do the usual: talk to your local tobacconist, start using bikky tins instead, beg from the Brits here, or learn to build your own boxes (it's pretty easy; use Rand Moore's Homemade Resonator Boxes 101 v.2 group here on CBN for ideas).

Hi, just finished my first build. Such a steep learning curve and there are many things I will do differently next time. Can't wait to start on a fretted model. I'm struggling to find a resource of really nice quality cigar boxes in the UK. Any ideas anyone?

Hi Chaps here's another from ol blighty.

I only discovered cbg a couple of weeks ago.

I never knew they existed!

I wish I knew about this years ago when I started to learn to play a Bass guitar.

I gave up I could get my head around this theory stuff.john
