I would like to buy one to see if I like them?

but at the same time don't want to spend a small fortune on one either maybe later once I learn how to play one.

at the moment I don't have the space to make my own due to having half of my garage into a workshop.

I make grab rails and carriers for classic bikes so obviously the workshop is grubby and not suitable to do any woodwork.

the other of is where I keep my motorbike and house hold stuff as well as storage for my chromed products.

Oh! And thanks for welcoming me to the group David. I'm new to building and the build I've just completed will be my learner guitar. How about you?

I'm a Derbyshire lad originally nd spent a lot of time in Nottingham in my late teens / early twenties.

Thanks Sit. Yeah approached my local tobacconist and they're happy to put boxes aside for me and they've expressed interest in taking the odd one off me, which is great. Only trouble is they have nothing typically until later on in the tourist season. One more place to try locally (I say locally, but nothing's really local where I am in Cornwall, moan moan moan ha!). I guess I'll stick with building my own boxes for now.

If you have a tabocanist locally, approach them and see if they'll put boxes aside for  you when they empty from single sales and you'll pay them a small amount of money and they should be happy to. Say that your building guitars from them and they might be interested in the project.  I did this with a guy near my office, had to take one in to show him after I'd got a couple as he was interested in the whole thing.
