Laurie, fantastic stuff,couldn't agree more, tho' there's not much these days to make me rush anywhere, Just as a thought, i was born in '64 and Jule's was born in '65, funny old world innit.....?

Jesse Fuller, wow! there was a player. I saw him play at Nottingham Uni 1964/5, he made me rush home and build 12 string. I still can't play it. I've got his vinyl LP somwhere - must did it out.

Threw an old drum kit out the other week ,and now you show me that,lol
I have still got a side drum and a snare, hmmm maybe a nice body for a drum bodied uke/banjo/3 string etc?

Another gizmo to add to my ever growing list of things I'm dying to try building. (It also makes me want to know more about Jesse Fuller and hear his stuff).

I'm thinking there must be parts in a piano which could be utilised in one of these things. My neighbour still hasn't said for sure if she wants to get rid of the dilapidated piano she's been storing in my garage - but if she does decide it's junk them you can bet I'll be in there sizing up the pedal mechanism with Fotdella-like ideas in mind.
