Well what a FANTASTIC weekend that was ..all due to the Godfarther of the CBG Mr Chickenbone John - Thanks John for all the years worth of effort you put into making it possible for us all you did us all proud mate your a STAR :)

it was great to meet up with all you people from around the UK / France & Switzerland sorry i didn't get round you all - as i only get day release once a year and so many bad influences around me (mainly Northern - Ponkster - Banjo Ant and that bloody Roosterman - i felt the need to drink large amounts of Beer to try and drown the bloody lot of them out haha!
i must say one of the highlights of my weekend was meeting Tinqui8 what a great guy and performer the two year wait was well worth it i'm sure you will all agree hes quite a guy !
Thanks to all for coming hope to see you all again soon

I'm gonna have to work that ringtone into the set I reckon-too good to pass up.So now I need
A) a phone that can do ringtones, or
B) pack Dibbo into my van.

What a good do again> Thanks to those who put in the hard work. The mind boggles wondering what other ring tones Dibbo has on his phone.......thought it would just have been full of Abba tunes. :-)

Great Photos Lois. And you got at least one of mine. Thanks. I'm famous as a builder now. :)

When it comes to planning the next one there has to be a session with Roosterman - I think we discovered it doesn't really matter what he's doing, all you have to do is put a mike in his hand and he just keeps getting more entertaining.

I'll add my thanks to John for pulling it off again.
It was pretty much non-stop gags from the moment we set off friday to the moment I stumbled back into my house on sunday afternoon.
Despite the utter corporate sell-out nature of the event, there were still some real highlights - obviously my open mic triumph goes without saying, but also Roosterman's workshop (I would have preferred some more stuff on tone woods, string gauge and customer service though...), Hollowbelly's playing workshop and all the perfomers on the night - tinq; you were ace, and good effort coming all that way, Redd; you were pissed, good effort.
I met some really nice people. I met some bloody awful horrible people (and had to share a car with them for hours) and I might even have learnt something too, if only I could remember it.
