yeah, I just used the original speaker, some of the pots rewired and added an LM386 type amp module. Most of the original components where just left disconnected.

Hi Guys

Just picked up an ancient radio from the charity shop (the shape of a CBG AMP) it looks like its ready to be transformed into a dirty CBG amp.

It has all the original electrics -

Has anyone ever done this and if so - any tips or suggestions

Is anyone else finding it a very slow business to log in and log out of the Nation? For some reason I'm getting a huge delay (upwards of 10mins on one occasion) between the sign in box and getting onto the site as a logged in user. Works fine once I'm in.
