This is the fret slotting jig I use. I attached a block of wood to my fret saw with strong double-sided tape as a depth stop.

I needed an aid in getting consistent alignment when installing fretboard side dots.  Used a spare mandolin bridge cover (any piece of metal with a right angle will do) and drilled three holes for where to position dots for ukulele, CBG or regular sized guitar. See pic.

thickness sander with and without dust collection ran pallet wood thru today very happy turning on the machine turns on an outlet that my shop vac is plugged into

new to the group just built this neck jig from scrap been moving towards building with truss rods havn't added the body supports yet

Nah, I'll just put it on the shelf next to the other relics.  Still have my first stone axe there. 

More into blues than rock anyway.
