One - Two - Three - Four

Here's where we can work together to record some music. Anyone can participate, either adding a track or starting a new project. As always, there's no rules, but maybe to make it simple there should be some guidelines.

Obviously each project should be in a format that makes it easy for others to join in. Or not. Audacity is a Free, full featured music recording application available for Mac, PC and Linux which many members here use and can assist others with.

Some veterans may use more serious software that attracts more serious contributions. ProTools with a serious studio setup?

Let's make this a fun way for us to work together many miles apart.

All suggestions concerning how to make this easy and fun are welcome, and everyone is invited to join in. HAAAAA, if your track doesn't fit the song, it can always be deleted...

Well Nation, let's make some music together!

Ted

Thanks for the invite Ted. I use Cubase as my main recording and sequencing s/w and following the recent update to 5.1, upgraded from version 4 to version 5.

I do also have a copy of Audacity installed and should be able to use that if need be to post to a collective effort.

I also have other instruments available both real and virtual for backing tracks (bass, horns, etc.) so we can really "go downtown" if we want on some tunes!

Hey Ted, great idea! My close friends have a bluegrass band and I always get first dibs on new cuts for CD because I have such a fine ear - lol - even though I am in Denmark and they are in NY, I get the first cut before production...and here I sit with no equip except my our 2 ears!
