I use these guys as they are local and really helpfull ....
http://guitarwoods.com.au. fret wire is running for $16 @ meter ..
As far as reso's go I have made one for a laugh out of a cake mould and its works real neat .......
I reckon the best thing to do is find someone local roll out there with some beer and get chatting ... Its never what you know its who...

Sorry - I have just revisted all the aussie pics and seen the resos there. On another topic entirely - fret wire in australia...any ideas, I can only buy from one place locally at $20AUD a metre.. so it looks like a stewmac order might be appropriate.

hey, stoked to find an Aussie group up here, if theres any CBG builders in brisbane give us a shout. I've made a few biscuit tin banjos so far, mostly with salvaged materials from Reverse Garbage in West End, hope I can get some good tips off folks. EV.

Hey Rod! Man I love this site!
Yeah I like the boxes as long and wide as possible with a width of between 5- 7 cm. Basically the more flat rectangular ones as these are the best proportioned.
its all cool about the P&P or any other drop off idea, count me in bro.
