Where I am.........

Just wanted to throw out a update on my playing, building, etc.........Well, I have messed around with a few diddley bow tunes. Nothing too deep....but just fun. I have not been building anything or plan on building anything anywhere in the near future. I was geting a little burned out and felt like I was beating a dead horse a little....making CBG's and they all sounding the same. So as for now, it's 2 diddley bows, and one CBG and one cookie tin guitar. I have been playing lap slide on my poor mans fender with a glass bottle. But that is about it.

I am so glad that I ran acorss the whole CBG craze, because if not, I would have missed out on some of this great music, and never really known how much I am drawn to the blues.

I got over the "craze" of building CBG's already, so I am just getting more picky on what I want to build, no more throwing them together, if I don't slow down and think things through to make something nice and technically correct, I am just wasting materials. Nothing worse then staring at your ugly hack jobs in the corner, and not playing any of them. The Nation has allot to offer, it's a good place to hang around.
