vintage Solid State Amp Kit ?

Hey guys no pics till tomorrow but my mom found a vintage  in unopened box solid state amp kit . it was only 20 bucks so i told her to pick it up for me . my problem is i cant find any thing on it . the box is white with red writing and a cartoon of a guy playing a piano . does any one know the value ? if i open the box will i kill the value ? if i build it will i kill the value ? im scared and excited to hear this thing come to life . any advice ? Thoughts ? Knowledge of this thing at all ?

Tough without pix...if its got writing on it, pethaps it can be read? what does it say on the box? IMHO, just open the box and build the damned thing. Otherwise, why did you ask your mom to buy it? Were you gonna shop it on eBay for $50? You wanna hear it come to life, there's only one way...
