We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Yes I have an excellent vocal processor.

We just play it by ear and go with the flow. Out of courtesy, I'd keep it to one song at a time and if things seem laid back and they sometimes are, then performing another is not a problem. Last year, only had one kid

Matthew Lesch

used the open mic and he is a hit along the river front at all the big clubs.

Mr. C. No,nothing like that. We could play with a Boss 7 band EQ and run it into a tube overdrive and see if we could come close to what you need. The Mesa Boogie V-twin is a bit hairy'r than my Vox big ben. We could try em both. You would need a 1/4 plug at the end of your mic cable.

10 sec...............bodda boom!

Bring an extra extension cord if you got one just in case needed. I have equipment cables. If you bringing pedals, I suggest getting them set up on a power supply board so things don't get complicated on stage. Once it's set up, I think it should be left until performance dies down and Justin takes over. There will be a lot of people on and off stage.

I'll get a board made up. Have a DC Brick with seven 9 volt lines. Anyone who needs to can power up with it. However ask before using this if your not familiar with it. Got three outs that will FRY a 9volt pedal. If I remember i'll put tape over those power outs.

Boxes I plan on bringing. In this lineup.
TC electronic Polytune
Boss GE-7 seven band EQ.
Vox Big Ben Overdrive (all tube).
Boss DD-6 Delay
TC electronic Hall of Fame reverb.

If you need em, use em.

One song at a time??? How many times can I repeat that one song? : )

How many times can I repeat that one song?

When everyone get up and leaves? : )

Some of the equipment I'm bringing for the fest.

Electro Harmonix voice box,

TC Electronic Ditto Looper.

Preamp Booster Pedal-an excellent DB booster and noise canceller.

Analog Delay

Channel Mixer with phantom power and mono piped into two 12" Yamaha PA mounted on tripods two angle 8" floor monitors.

Four Dynamic mics Audio-Technica M4000S and Shure 57. Two Guitar amps and one bass amp. One long 110v new multi strip and two extension cords.

Looking for a drummer and bass player to sit in on a few sets. Anybody?

I've played drums for over 30 years, I could probably sit in on a few sets.

Excellent, I'll be sure to set up.

Excellent. I'll have a bass handy. Justin does his sets solo. I personally like a rhythm driving the song.
