Is there such an event? If not, why not!

A few of us here on the nation have made contact and are talking about a local gathering. An event to show our boxes, talk about them on every level and all that relates. I've seen related to this going on around or near my area, if there is I'd like information please.

It wouldn't take much to get it started, however if it turned into something big, I'm sure there's enough talent to step up to the plate and organize an event near St. Louis, at a local Deli, club or coffee house needing a few hour of interesting excitement.

If you have ideas or interest, post them here and lets see what develops.

Perfect, that's exactly what it'll be about. Build them guitars and network with others that can compliment your music, percussion, harp, etc.

Today's update, me and gary went down to the Blues City Deli St. Louis, talked to the owner about hosting the event. Vinnie the owner, seemed to like the idea well enough but was unsure whether they would host any main events this year. However he asked us to send him an email which I did to get a formal response. Gary and I shared our CBG's along with curious deli patrons, it was a nice day out, wish there were more of them and more of us make it interesting. I sent an email out to  Folk School of St. Louis which is also sponsored by HDHX 88.1. I'll continue the search until we find success. There are many more possibilities moving forward.

B.C.D. is a cool place. And they have events there. Good neighborhood too. 1860's might be cool with it. They might charge for group use though.

if it is a nice enough day we may be able to use the park at the Soulard market. Saturday draws dig crowds.

Me and Gary went around last Saturday looking and I've gotten several responses through emails from local venues and possible sponsors. I'll be following up on the first responses and will filter through all till we wind up on top. There has been a few ideas illuminated for space and other restrictions. Hang in there we're just getting started and keep them ideas flowing. I'll look into 1860's!

cool. keeping an eye for the outcome.

Build it and they will come.....
