Thanks for the vote of the confidence bug! :)
I just spent about an hour and a half on the drums and backing vocals.
All parts are recorded. I'm happy with it. Now for mixing and editing.

I have to say a few little two harmony licks later in the song are my favorite parts.

Jon Pruett's 4 string CBG has profoundly impacted my musical life. I could never overstate the effect that man has had on my music. Thanks Jon!

hope to record "Angie" this afternoon, worked out something completely different for this, you'll hardly recognise the old song - Slowpawed! (-8

Had a washing machine wipe out yesterday, the damned thing finally gave up....luckily i was able to shoot over to Currys and pick up a new one off the shelf. Easily got it in the back of the Slowpawmobile, after removing the old machine outside on the front drive i set up the new machine....got it running with quick start guide and decided to browse the manual....uh oh, transport bolts...? quick start never mentioned transport bolts...shit!

stopped the cycle, dragged the thing out and removed the dang transport bolts, phew...moral" always read the manual and bin quick start guides!!!

Later i happened to notice a large white van outside my house, a guy was loading the old machine into the back of the van...i went out to tell him he was doing me a favour and saved me a trip to the town dump but it would be polite to ask first before removing things from someone's property...? big grin.."sorree no engleesh.." ..must be some unwritten rule round here... )-:
