Taking a stab at this, but you should be fine. I cut one down and it still worked for me. I have searched the internet for information on whether the seperate element type is series or parallel to no avail, but to my thinking it wouldn't make a difference as long as you trimmed the free end which of course one would. I also think the elements are in parallel. In the case of a continous element piezo it won't matter either. So I think you're safe as long as you handle the strip with care.

Thanks Don.......think I'll give it a try soon....Mike

Will regular Scissors do a good job cutting Disk Piezos?

The one I will cut is not a disk , more like a stick..Ill use a dremel tool........for a smooth cut...as far as disks Im not sure but whatever makes a non jagged cut?

I have used cuticle scissors with success. They need to be tight for a clean cut.
