Pickup install

hello

I am installing a single coil  pickup. It has three wires, pos, neg and ground. I am soldering it to an input which has a positive and negative but what do I do with the ground?

Your ground wire should go to all the electronic components(switches/ back or side of pots/ output jack) and the bridge or stop tail piece(where the string ends are).
