Laser cutting / Pickup forms Done / DXF file

Just sent off an Autocad file for a trial on a 3 string pickup top and bottom plate should have done the center for bobbin but not thinking. $3.50 for the cuts and $8 shipping done in 3.2 mm birch ply 181mm x 181 mm material size could have filled the sheet but again not thinking . Beautiful job. Very professional looking build. But, more importantly (as Wayfinder aluded) what's the lowdown on that coil winder? motor?. counter? setup details? It looks like a very well set up winder unit.

Hey, thanks for passing along the information on your winding rig. The counter you linked to looks good for only $11 including the sensor and shipping. A winding motor is less of a challenge since, as you point out, a drill motor, drill press or similar will work.

I know that it may be much easier to just write a check an buy a pickup, but one of the great things about CBG is the learning process. I'm sure my wife can find better things for me to spend time on, but designing, building and hearing my own pickup is a pretty interesting way to spend time.

Forgot that I was going to post the DXF file for the forms lets see if this works it was done in auto cad saved as DXF do not know if this will work. File seems to work if you do not have a drafting program to open it in just save it so it can be sent to a laser cutter.
