A friend sent me this (we used to live in this area);
If anyone lives close to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi here is an event that you might be interested in.
Performance at 7pm Friday, Tickets $10.00
There will also be an exhibit of cigar box guitars made by four different artists in the Duckett Gallery, with a reception prior to the Abel concert at 5 p.m. Admission is free to the exhibit
Abel also will offer a Cigar Box Guitar workshop at 1 p.m. Saturday. Participants will design and construct their own working cigar box guitars with Abel.The member fee for the workshop is $40, including supplies, and the non-member fee is $50.
