Event Description
The Cigar Box Guitar Festival is back for its 12th year at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment! This event is the longest running Cigar Box Guitar festival in the world, celebrating all aspects of Cigar Box Guitar folk culture. June 3 & 4 will be filled with music, engaging demonstrations and hands on workshops, folk art, vendors, food trucks and more. This event aims to honor the makers, musicians, and fans of these unique, historic instruments.
Venues include Tangled String Studio, Flying Monkey Theatre, and Nickel Cigar Box Guitar Studio.

We had a blast at the festival! Got to show my ukes to some other builders, and jammed with Clyde and the musical crutches! Wish I had gotten his card! Good times for Kentucky Mojo!

This will be the first CBG event I've attended and I have a question...do people tend to bring one of their own guitars for impromptu jam sessions, or is that frowned upon since there will be plenty of performances on stage and vendors present?
