Pizio pickup

building my first 6 string lap steel. will one pizio under the bridge work or would two be better ?

I would not use a piezo for a lap steel, personally. But if you are going to, use two, side by side for good coverage and more volume. I find them pretty weak compared to regular pickups, but I'm sure a lot of people swear by them. I also don't like having to dig them out from inside the box if they fail.
Just my two cents.
