Amps and speakers

As I've said before, I'm pretty ignorant in matters electronic, but trying to learn. I have a couple of Kicker 3" two way car speakers on the shelf. Pretty heavy magnets. Can I use these with any of the amp circuitry kits here or are the power requirements too great?

The speaker power is a maximum value. I,use car speakers all the time for amps.... They will work...

Using one of the little 2.5w amp circuit kits here, with a 9v battery?

Absolutely! I use 4" car speakers with sub 1W amps. They work great...

While you're here, I also have a pair of old powered computer speakers which could be hacked into. The converter/wall plug says 16V. Could I power that with 2 9V batteries?
