It is great to see this Art/Hobby active in the area. I'm from Manteca, and trying to learn all I can about building instruments like CBG's & CBU(ukeleles) in particular. Would love a collaborator/partner in crime, so to speak. By the way there were some really nice builds there for show. I was re-inspired!

Directions: I-80 east of Sacramento (towards Reno); Take the Douglas Blvd WEST exit; Thru the light at Harding Blvd; past the gas station on the right and turn Right into the shopping center; The Strum Shop is about ½ way down on the left side, just past the Grocery Outlet Market.

I just got back from Burning Uke, where I gave a workshop on CB Ukes for the 4th year in a row. 3 Years with only my CBUs but this year, 3 CBUs, 1 CBAmp, and 1 Soprano length CB 5 String Banjo. I am doing some good out there!

I'll post more about next Sundays meeting in a day or two.
