Been using them for a while now, they work great! I bought about 20 big tubs of hardware from a lumberyard that changed distributers and didn't want the old hardware and such, bought 20 large bins of brand new hardware for $50. One of the bins had about 3,500 1/8" rivets in there along with the same amount of 3/16" on up. I should have enough for a few more gits :-)

They work great. I always run a drill bit thru them after they have been installed, The small nuts off bicycle spokes are great also, available at eBay or your local bike shop

Yes, I do that too, especially on my more "old-school primitive" builds.

And if you want brass look, use ferrells found at any plumbing store for about $.30. I did this cuz I only found silver and copper rivets
