Hi, Pete thanks for the friend add, Your first gitty looks Great. It's a super hobby and this site is full of great people, they help you out with any build question you can think of.

  • Maddog

Thanks for the friend request Pete. Look forward to seeing those canjo's ya got goin'!

I would like to get into the wood carving more, I have done a little bit. Wood carving on a CBG is cool as it connects the builder to the git that much more.

    Hi Pete,

I never made a radio amp and been asking around for help as well....I was pointed in this direction   http://www.cigarboxnation.com/group/vintage-radios-converted-into-g... Also there is a member here Mark Carter....he's been messing with radios a long time...and seems like a egar fellow that likes helping others. Thank you Pete for your friendship. Happy Thanksgiving.

Playing fretless is tricky because those good old frets make getting accurate pitches almost idiot proof. LOL I cover some fretless ideas on CD 6, but it mainly focuses on movable chords which are extremely difficult on a fretless. CD 4 would be more applicable. Have you seen this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMdRMFN_5Ck&feature=share&li...

Not sure if you are clear, remember to play directly on the fret line or over it using a slide to get the correct pitch. Most people draw the chromatic scale on the neck. A lot easier.
