I get my tuners from a local store. 3 on a side.for around 6.99. they dont come with ferruls but they work nice and have brass gears.Greenshift.I havent been around as much do to the fact im a roofer and its rainy season.i just get too busy.
Just got back home from my vacation to the family farm in Finland. Have some birch to dry there and brought some with me. Finished my first CBG there and I'll post some pictures later today of the old workshop and the CBG. :-)

Hey there - That was funny running into you like that... Anyway in the Fox Fire book there is an entire section on building Banjos. There might be some ideas on creating that neck joint you were talking about. Also the finish I use is Deft I buy it a Lowes in the spray cans. For me the trick is many light coats with sanding in between... I am going to update some photos of my recent builds 4 string two bottle wine box resonator I am sending to Keni lee a little later today. Take care
