Hey mate, thanks for your comment on ma fiddly bow, glad you liked it. Gotta do an acoustic demo soon but need to learn another riff first!!
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for your comment on my video. Onyx is definately a good time dog. He believes there ain't no Heaven, there ain't no Hell, where he is going when he dies, he will never tell. LOL Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

My pleasure Ken (Noisemaker).Thank you for your comment, generous rating, and gift. Enjoy.
  • Kevin Sprague (Knotlenny)

Thanks for your kind comment about my video, Mr, Noisemaker!
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for your best wishes. I'm really excited. You know, underground on the subway platforms I hope for rain. Brings people down to ride. Oddly, now for Times Square, I'm wishing for blue skies and wonderful weather. I guess, "I can't be satisfied". LOL Enjoy.

    Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for becoming a member of the "How To Play CBG" Group. Are you going to post an instructional video or are you a viewer seeking lessons? Please respond. It is my hope and intention to encourage the "wealth of talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skills to further the CBG movement. Please feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions and please invite any players who you feel may contribute to this group. Enjoy, Keni Lee
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you. I have contacted over half of the members here. So far there is a big cry out for instruction, but not a lot of players who are willing to share their skills. There is truckloads of building information, but the revolution needs more video instructors demonstarting their ideas behind playing their builds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy.
  • olds sleeper

glad you like horseheads vol one.....volume two and three will be out by november. all will be very different. peace man...dig your builds.
  • Delvero

Nice builds! Can't be pick'in much cotton out in Arizona! Wish i was there......
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for your best wishes and encouragement. Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for your comment about my video. Actually talent runs in our family. My Great Grandfather Alowishus Lee was known as the Whistling Moonshiner. He was afraid of the dark, so he would whistle to keep himself company when he was running liquor. Later he was known as Whistling Inmate # 53627 LOL Happy Halloween! Enjoy.
  • Kevin Sprague (Knotlenny)

    Hey Noisey,
I just wanted to acknowledge your kind comment on my Spambourine.
It gave me an opportunity to check out some of your newer stuff. NICE!!!

  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for your comment. Ya, but sometimes it gets a little redundant. So we have Beer and Fried Chicken! LOL Happy Holidays! Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Ken for your warm Holiday Greetings. Also, thank you for your friendship and kind gifts. I wish you, your loved ones, and friends a peaceful and joyous Holiday Season. Best of Health and Wealth in 2010. Keep Bustin' Those Strings! Enjoy, Keni Lee
  • bemuzic

    love your Cave Noise song!!
  • bemuzic

well sounds good!...Happy Christmas to you : -)
  • bemuzic

thanks for the vid comment : -)
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Ken (Noisemaker). The Competition is steep and the openings are few. They tell me if you keep applying and continue to get invited to the auditions, eventually your turn will come and they will bring you in. It is for a lifetime pass (as long as they, MUNY, continues to have the contract with Grand Central!) So, slow and steady wins the race. Just gotta be the little engine that could. Enjoy.
  • darren brown

thank you for the complament, nice guitars you have there .db.
  • W.M. Peterson

Yeah, I'm surely no straight Blues-fan :), i'm also into rockabilly, psychobilly, surf, sixties garagerock, country, punk, ska, some doo-wop haha,...On my path of searching new sounds i ended up here and i've finished my first build a few weeks ago and this weekend i started my second, i think i'm already hooked :)
  • W.M. Peterson

I thought i 've heard all the obscure material, hehe :) great site you run.

    Some real cool stuff !!
  • W.M. Peterson

Thx ! great story too ! And for my musical knowledge since '84 starting out as a young rockabilly ; also thank you Lux and Ivy !
best regards and lots of success(and spare time) for your future builds.
Our paths will surely cross on this forum....

Hey bro. I just started a group for AZ CBG players/builders. Come on by if you have a moment. I am trying to get something started out here for us to get together and jam or what ever.

  • HENRY LOWMAN

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Noise! :-)
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Noisemaker for your comment. You think my performance was HOT? Boy, I think it was Wednesday, the temperature was super intense. It was so hot there was no one playing on the street that day. But I will take heat over rain anyday while I am on vacation. LOL Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Noisemaker. I will share some info with you. I played about 25 to 30 hours over the week. I made slightly less than $20 per hour. I sold 10 CDs too. ($10 each) So, that is $600 to $700 for enjoying myself on vacation. This is about the same I make on the platforms of NYC. Not too shabby. People are usually generous. When shooting videos, many times the audience stays back. So it is not an accurate account of what really takes place. Enjoy.
  • darren brown

hi thanks, yes i luv the old kays, its a 63 vanguard the dearmond soap bar picups are great tone for slide .
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Noisemaker. Your comment is very generous. Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Noisemaker for your comment. There is definitely Gold in them thar hills. LOL Years ago, I found the Fiddle-edge resonator I now own, as a "buy it now" auction 2 o'clock in the morning, when I got up because I could not sleep. It was up for the amazing low price of $1200. I felt I had no choice but to buy. Sometimes when you find those treasures, it can be quite stressful too. Should I buy...should I let it go...Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you Noisemaker for your comment. I am pretty sure it is not OS. The neck is a dead give away for me. Regardless, she does need a lot work, but if won cheap, she would make an excellent learning project and eventually a sweet little vintage instrument. Enjoy.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thanks for sharing. That definitely looks like the real McCoy. Might be just a wall hanger at this point, but who knows? Enjoy.
  • darren brown

thanks very much for the comment man .db.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Thank you for sharing. I came across 2112jefferson too while treasure hunting. I was amazed at his inventory. If he is a picker that does not know a lot about guitars is hard to believe. I wonder if this is a large sell off of a private collection? I guess we will see, if more guitars keep getting posted. Regardless, definitely some nice stuff. Enjoy.
  • Norm Fasey

Digging your track on the Christmas album. man!
  • chris ekelman

Hey Ken, how are things buddy? Hope all is well. Hey, where do you get your boxes at? In town?
  • chris ekelman

Where in the hell is total wine & more? Never heard of it. Went to Central and Camelback on the northeast corner . Nice little shop.  All boxes ,3.00 dollars. Tell "em Chris sent you and you get an additional 50% off.
  • Keni Lee Burgess

Ya, in general the more music you listen to, the better. Get it deep inside your body and soul. Onyx is good. Well over due for a hair cut. A real walking carpet. Spring is coming. Soon it will be time to shed that winter coat.
  • chris ekelman

whats up Ken? hope all is well.
  • luna baker

thanks     I have admired several of your builds as well
