Huntsville Alabama is home to the World’s Longest Running Cigar Box Guitar Festival and will be celebrating its 20th year May 30-June 2, raising money for music education. The evening concert of Day 3 of the Festival takes place on Saturday June 1 in the Artist Meadow at The Orion Amphitheater featuring blues with Ghalia Volt, followed by Grammy-winner Gary Nichols and The FAME Gang from Muscle Shoals. There will be three more days of events at four other locations, including a kick-off on Thursday night with all original music performed by local artists; rock and blues on Friday night; music, dancing and kids activities during the day on Saturday; and jazz brunch on Sunday.
