20th Annual Cigar Box Guitar Festival (Day 2)

Huntsville Alabama is home to the World’s Longest Running Cigar Box Guitar Festival and will be celebrating its 20th year May 30-June 2, raising money for music education. Day 2 of the Festival takes place on Friday May 31 in the Beer Garden at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium featuring blues with Debbie Bond and Microwave Dave, followed by rock with Coburn. Gates open at 5:30 for food, beverages and kids activities. Music starts at 6:30. Bring a chair. Suggested donation of $10. There will be three more days of events at four other locations, including a kick-off on Thursday night with all original music performed by local artists; music, dancing and kids activities during the day on Saturday; an evening concert with Grammy-winner Gary Nichols on Saturday night; and jazz brunch on Sunday.
