I just have to say, this site is so damn much fun. There's always something interesting going on, in addition to the river of information inside. It's impossible to look at CBN for just a few…Continue

aside from some childish insults (get bent? yeah, ok), the vibe seems to be if you don't like it, why not f**k off somewhere else. very democratic.

theres some amazingly talented guys on cbn im not knocking anyone ( how could i "personally dislike" someone i don't even know...) but sometimes it's good to give your face a rest and let others get a little bit of the sunshine

keep on rockin

If it walks like a Duck, and quacks like a Duck...it must be...a Doubtful Thomas. ;-)

Many manifestos magnify molehills.

Just noticed up at the top of this mess...

Definitely true. It seems like it's more of a fling the fertilizer atmosphere. Don't stand near the fan because the excrement is dispersed with great velocity.

As for the lack of "progression" all you need to do is look around, like Mr Pick said, there's lots of new stuff showing every day. If it's not in your taste, fine. Build what you want and play how you like, but don't bitch about lack of diversity in the Cigar Box Nation. There's lots of innovation around the place from Vinnies simple melodies to his full on space cadet loops and distortion. Pete Regan's ironworks turns out some amazing heavy metal builds and we have videos that cover the full spectrum from barroom jams, street corner busking and film of peoples feet to vintage movies and historical film, all backed up by some of the largest varieties of picking you could hope for.

If you can't find what you want here, what the hell are you doing hanging around. I have never been able to understand why people get into a hobby or activity and only seem happy if they can change it, but then again, some folks aren't happy unless every body else isn't. What part about "no rules" don't they understand.
