A group for those near to London, weather you live near or just feel near spiritually. Even if you've never been to the "Great Metrolops" but feel some sort of emotional connection. Hope it helps people down south to co-ordinate a bit.

Hi Ed not sure what a pasty is in the US but over here they are these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pasty .

Are pasties something else in the UK compared with the US?  I might be changing my location if they are not.

Comment by Pyno on December 22, 2011 at 7:54am

I'm up for a meet, Brickdust can buy the pasties :)

Good deal.  Brickdust, I still owe you for the CD.  Stuff has been sitting on my desk.

If there isn't a gig around, I can likely be found at the Eaton Oak in St. Neots having a few pints.

Good idea. Also StumbleCol, who are also in the Cambridge area.

Mark C, Barrie and Kevin Lawton are all in Manchester, so might be able to help there.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Just booked tickets for my next trip to Germany and UK.  Will be in Cambridge/St. Neots Jan 25th & 26th.  Manchester 27th.  Anyone have any gigs planned in the area those evenings?

Hi,

I noticed a long absence from Norm Fasey.  I hope all is well with him.   Any news?

In reply to Michael Fred Johnson, The Blues Kitchen in Camden regularly has some great music, last time I went it was reall old time folk blues but depends on the night, as well as fantastic food and a selection of bourbons that'll leave you skint and hungover!
