A group for those near to London, weather you live near or just feel near spiritually. Even if you've never been to the "Great Metrolops" but feel some sort of emotional connection. Hope it helps people down south to co-ordinate a bit.

Oh no. I feel bad now. We'll have to have a system here to avoid that sort of thing, but not sure how it would work. Sorry about that. I hope you have better luck with the eyebolts.

In my last message I put an underline on the words Stage-electrics to show that it is a link, but the ever helpful Ning removed them (thanks Ning).

On an unrelated  and off-topic note (pun alert) I just got a MicroCube on eBay for 23 squids (minus £10 because I had a voucher). Can't wait to pick it up.

Hi there.

Screwfix is the first place that comes to mind. They do have some, but if they don't have exactly what you want you might like to try Stage-electrics.

Hope that helps. Let me know how you get on. All the best.

Hi Brian. Thanks for the comment. In the south of England we are quite spread out. There seems to be a better concentration of members further north, so it seemed like a good idea to get organised so that we could make the most of what is going on in the area.

It seems to me that exchanging information on resources has always been part of what this site is about. This gives the opportunity to go a bit more "local" with the information.

Good luck with the sale. All the best.

John

I would like to let everyone know that I am selling much of my inventory of items pictured on my profile page. If you see something in any of the pics that you can identify I will be glad to work with you on finding the cheapest shipping cost so these items can remain priced low.

All items will be priced from 1 to 15 U.S. Dollars, most being on the low end of the the price scale. So look through my pictures and contact me about what you want.

I also have a small online store that is new and I will be adding items to it daily, http://cheepstuff.bigcartel.com

Thanks everyone...rock on~

Hi Michael. I imagine any man who can make a guitar from a Guinness box with a harp tail piece would be welcome anywhere.

Living north of Hadrians wall joining this group could be a sort of missionary quest. After saying that I'll probably be chucked streight oot !
