well today i picked up 3 more cicar boxes... now how do i want to do it, neck outside? neck inside? neck all the way through or a tailpiece? acoustic? electric? piezo ? pickup???? so so confused. *L*

The hook is the realisation that with a couple of bucks, there is a musical instrument already sitting there in parts in your tool shed/barn/cupboard. All you have to do is put it together.

G'day All,

Lionel form Henley Brook, Western Australia here. I have built one CBG so far with three more on the go. Saw one online one night watching U-tube videos with my daughter and thought, I could make one of them. I don't play (yet) but still love making them. Gives me something to do once the kids are in bed and the house is quiet. turn the kitchen bench into my workshop and do it all by hand, no power tools used. I'll have to figure out how to add photos and share what I have built so far. Thanks for adding me.

Hello from Indiana Pennsylvania. Just down the road from CBG (Speal) Central.I haven't played in many, many, many years and thought this might be an avenue to get me back to it.

I had never heard of CBG until one night I was perusing the net and came across a guy playing one with some sort of water pump as the rhythm section. After about 20 some odd videos form pups to engines and tractors I was hooked.

I also like building and designing things so I am all in.
