Hi Randy
thanks for the comments bro , the sycamore was a freebie used to be a bench in the woods lol!! no i never nicked it , i was told they were replacing them so i put my name on it
glad to here you been on the lathe again , wish i could get to use mine !!
Let's see the Bowl you turned , get it posted Bro !!
Yes the Key Cupboard is American White Oak , all the off cuts i used to save from going on the Fire , at the Bespoke Kitchen Company i used to work for the table is also made from off-cuts , all those little off-cuts are ideal for making minitures , and small lathe turnings
should have said what all the woods are sorry !! - the hand is still not finished some 8 years later , it's made from Iroko , the square flat bowl is Amazique so is the round bowl with the rings on the side and the other bowl is spalterd sycamore
juju.

Wow! Love that spalted sycamore Juju - I just turned a bowl up out of it yesterday... really nice to work with - Id post a picture but your bowls are far superior! Like the oak (?) key cupboard too.
And as for that leopardwood Ted... where can I get some??!! That really is stunning.
Delta - Im no expert in exotic woods, but I would hazard a guess that your resobanjo is one of the mahogany type woods? Maybe iroko? Its very common out there - I used to import container loads of mahogany / iroko furniture from the Phillipines.

Real nice Ted i love the woods you use , adds such a great contrast , the leather adds that extra little touch "sweet"

Thanks for the invite. Maybe someone can tell me what kind of wood my resobanjo is made of. I believe it is a wood from the Phillipines, but that's all I know.
