I wouldnt use one Badger. I hear it takes away too much from them.I do know spence was messing with the idea about a month ago. You should check with him.

I have tried using one before, i used a 1Megaohn pot on an pretty bad CBG i made and there was no volume at all until i reached about 7, i was just wondering if a pot with a different ohmage (is that a word??) would work better

I've heard 500 ohms is the best because it works well with the piezo. a different ohmage (i dunno if thats the word...haha) would be used for a magnetic pickup.

Keep in mind you need a logarithmic pot not a linear pot for a volume control. Sometimes these are labeled "audio taper" pots as well.
