First Resonator Build

Hey guys. This is going to be a long term project for me. I want to get a few more simple builds under my belt before I ruin these materials. haha

So what suggestions do you have for attaching the neck? I can pull off a through the body design, but with the reso there, that out of the question. I thought about adding a block or dowel rod under it to support it (like a pillar holding up a roof) but Im certain to have the action off.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you look at the pics on my page, you'll get one approach; the neck is attached pretty much like the neck of a "real" guitar, and the resonator sits in slots in two rails that run the length of the back.
There are plenty more ideas; cruise through the pics....
