It should drive it okay, but if I remember correctly, someone here did this and got nothing but feedback.

This won't solve the feedback problem, but you'll get a better sound out of the piezo if you use a design like the Ruby for the amp. It's only a couple of parts more which includes a preamp section that can handle the high impedance of the piezo better.

but in a separate cigar box. It sounds great with the piezos! I would not install it inside the cbg, because the close proximity of the speaker and the piezo would cause it to feedback very badly. The speaker makes the box vibrate and the piezos pick that up.
