well i got my first 2 cbg's built strung and t uned.  want to add piezo but with my eyesight as bad as it is(leagally blind) ican't see well enough to solder the  piezos and 1/4 in jacks---guess all mine will be acoustic.  wish there was someone close enough to me who needs shop room to share.  i'll try another solder attempt and hope it works.

Buy pre-wired piezos and just concentrate on soldering the jack.

How about buying a wiring harness with everything already soldered together?
My eyesight is fine and I still had trouble soldering on a piezo. Ended up buying pre-soldered pickups from CB Gitty. They are cheap and much less stressful than trying to do it all yourself.
i'd love to find eeverything pre soldered but haven't yet. i have to get so cklose to see with my eyes and then breathing the fumes from soldering just about does mei n. if i could see it would be no problem cb gitty has nice kit but it needs soldered
Mark, if you buy the pre-wired piezos and then fix the loose wire end to the jack using a crimp connector like this ...

.. that is as strong as a solder joint, and perfectly acceptable. Nil soldering, if you're not fussed about having a volume control. T.
good i dea but the leads on the piezo are only bout 2" long

Just pig-tail more wire to the short ones and elictrical tape the ends.  If I was near, I'd solder for you.  Contact a High School near you with an electrical trades class.  They would help.
